Full time

Barnoldswick (fully site-based role)

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Compressors area as a Quality Engineer in Barnoldswick.

You will be part of our diverse and experienced services team within Compressors and working towards weekly KPI’s and company targets. In this role you will implement and deliver the quality activities across the area, and you will ensure compliance to Rolls- Royce processes, procedures, and systems.

What you will be doing:

In this role you will ensure governance of all Quality-related activity for Part 145 and Part 21 offering cross site support, as well as:

  • Being recognised as a point of contact for all Quality issues in the area.
  • Providing coaching and support to all team members when performing Quality actions.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve Quality and implementing plans to deliver that improvement.
  • Coordinating data reporting and sharing best practice across the area.
  • Liaise with all Support functions on behalf of the area for all Quality matters.

  • Strong experience of working in a quality, business improvement or Manufacturing Engineering role.
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Ability to effectively influence and challenge appropriately at all levels.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional and multi-skilled teams is essential.
  • Understanding how organisations work and ability to use both formal channels and informal networks to get things done.
  • Self-management of time keeping, daily prioritising and focusing on Blue Chips is key to ensure basics are covered.
